These contacts, once heat treated, are silver or gold plated in order to be protected from corrosion and to ensure a better <strong class=\"d2b\">electrical conductivity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong class=\"d2b\">female contacts<\/strong> can be fitted with a rolled die-cut clip that provides the contact function with the <strong class=\"d2b\">male pin part<\/strong>.
